Teenager, Yves discovered sailing thanks to a friend and Eric Tabarly. He continues to sail. Yves started this canvas with a photo of the sea of clouds in l'Alpe d'Huez and the idea of overlaying Pen Duick VI, the boat of Eric and now Marie Tabarly. Yves continues to follow the race of Pen Duick Vi, currently engaged in the Ocean Globe race.

Yves has tried to obtain a double rendering where the sea of clouds is both clouds and waves.
